Dana Fragrances re-release limited edition 20 Carat gold-flake filled flacon




A classic perfume is one that has a mystical way of making everyone feel and smell rich. Recently, in our previous coverage we told you about some of themost expensive perfumes. The latest in luxury perfumes caters to the elite festive shoppers. Dana Fragrances are preparing to relaunch their classic 20 Carat fragrance in limited edition. The classic fragrance will come along with a tag line 'A rush of gold to the senses'. Remarkably, the company is popular for its classic smell first introduced in 1933 by Dana , and it was originally only sold in their Parisian boutique in glamorous falcons filled with real pieces of gold leaf floating around inside the bottle.

The perfume comprises of the notes of lowers fruit and moss. The original 20 carat fragrance was designed to be a womanly fougère that does not exist anymore. Sex and the city star and socialite, Sarah Jessica Parker tried to re launch fougère fragrance Covet in 2007, but the perfume failed to cast the spell. This time around its making a big splash with its compelling ad, showing a bottle of eau de parfum encircled by a diamond necklace from Van Cleef and Arpels. The caption below the advertisement reads: "20 Carats by Dana, the new fragrance to wear with your 31 Carat diamond necklace, or with your jeans."
The perfume can be pre-ordered now and it would sure make a perfect Christmas gift for the perfume lover on your list.
And, for those who can splurge without bounds, the "literally" gold bottle of DKNY perfume, called DKNY Golden Delicious Eau that costs a million dollar is the perfect gift.The dazzling bottle is decked with 2,909 precious stones sourced from around the world and is probably the most expensive perfume bottle released ever.
