This year we saw the motorbikes, yachts, cars, and a lot more making life a lot more luxurious to live, especially for the uber-rich group of buyers. Joining the list with virtually similar kind of impact and utility were the bicycles, many of which arrived as special editions, including the M55 e-bike Terminus Royal edition. Decked up in gold, titanium, Swarovski crystals, and an additional hybrid engine design, the M55 terminus royal edition will indeed be the new eco-luxury ride that will be the center of the ‘bling’ talks of the town.
Though bikes have caught the eye of buyers before, like the M55 Evo and theGrace Electric bike, both of which cater to a very niche range of hybrid machines, which combined the designing of the bicycle and put in an electric based engine along with great aesthetics, there was seriously space for some more. This Terminus Royale edition could be the perfect fit into that gap. Made of an 7075 aluminum self-standing body, buyers have the options of choosing precious metals like gold, which is also seen on the bike’s chain, titanium, or precious ‘blingers’ like Swarovski crystals which could adorn the frame of the machine. Beneath this frame is the integrated electric motor and battery cell with its wiring, which empowers the rider to go up to speeds like 67 km/ph, but would depend on the load and gear ratios. While the motor is a 250-500 Watt BLDC unit with 90% efficiency, the battery is divided into 8 units of the A123 Lithium Polymer cells. Along with this will be some high-end engineering in the form of White Brothers Groove 160 fork, custom made Gebhart M-55 aluminum chain with gold plating, Rohloff twist shifter gearing system, 7075 CNC machined on-board computer, along with Shimano Saint 203 mm front and rear floating disk brakes with Point 1 racing podium pedals. Chosen colors by customers, and jewelry as mentioned before, are always open to them but would make a difference to the final cost of the bike. The basic price is starting $38,500 plus VAT, and going upwards considering the use gemstone and precious metals.
Another option which luxury cyclists and bikers could opt is the Airbrush model of the M55 Terminus e-bike. Though largely similar to the royal edition, the use of precious metals and gemstones are absent. Instead the customers have the option of adding a color of their choice to the frame of the bike. Like the Royal edition, this one begins with a similar price band, but will vary with customizations such as the paints. The other differentiating factor would the inverted version of the White Brothers fork. This perhaps would be most appealing to those looking for a break away from the blinged edition.
