Jaeger-LeCoultre launched its first Grande Reverso in 1931, and in a bid to celebrate its milestone the brand is out with the Grande Reverso 1931 Rouge the newest Reverso pays a tribute to "one of the rarest and most sought-after historical Reversos. In the 1930s, the Manufacture offered a broad palette of dial colors." The watch over the years has gone through several interpretations, with as many as 50 in-house made calibres.
The new Reverso sports a red dial with silver hour markers and is powered by a manually-wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822. The watch sports a 27.5mm x 46mm x 7.27mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal. Available at LA/Brighton Way boutique, and other JLC boutiques worldwide, the watch comes with 30-meter water resistance and a 45-hour power reserve. The caseback is engraved with the words “1,000 Hours Control”.
