The Counter’s founder Jeff Weinstein has a new project under his belt: he just opened Freddy Smalls Bar & Kitchen in West Los Angeles with a soft-opening today at 5:30 p.m.
In somewhat of a sudden debut, rumors about Freddy Smalls Bar and Kitchen only began circulating last month when San Francisco chef Jeremy Fox (formally at Ubuntu) was consulting on the menu for Freddy Smalls Bar and Kitchen.
Details about what former Plum chef Charlie Parker (pictured) will be serving up at the new restaurant have remained under wraps. Also undisclosed: the handmade cocktails designed with help from Seven Grand’s David Fleisher.
Once fully operational, the restaurant will be open Monday – Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m.
Freddy Smalls Bar and Kitchen is located at 11520 Pico Blvd. West Los Angeles.
