Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts began construction of their new luxury resort at Walt Disney World last week during a special groundbreaking ceremony.
The 444-room resort, being built in the enclave of Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort, is expected to open in 2014.
Amenities will include a rooftop restaurant with views of the Magic Kingdom, a 14,000-square-foot spa, three pools and a lazy river, and meeting-and-event space.
The new hotel will be located by the Tom Fazio-designed Osprey Ridge 18-hole championship golf course, which is to be renovated and managed by Four Seasons.
