Brad Pitt Withdraws $13.75 Million Malibu Home from Market

Brad Pitt’s Malibu mansion has been withdrawn from the market and in the world of celebrity real estate deals, this usually means that the seller has sealed a deal with a buyer.
So far, no official record of sale has been released, however a moving company was spotted at the $13.75 million mansion removing all its contents. Listing agent Ellen Francisco of Coldwell Banker Malibu is insisting the house has not sold yet, and said her office received a request from the business manager asking that the listing be withdrawn. Either way, a house is never legally sold until escrow closes.
Regardless, the house came on the market in August and was listed for $13.75 million. It features four bedrooms in 4,088 square feet and sits on 1.26 acres on top of an ocean view bluff. Pitt is known as an architectural enthusiast and he tends to favor midcentury homes, which is what he turned this property into. It is gated and private and was completely renovated a few years ago. It features walls of glass, sweeping coastline views, dark bamboo floors and permits to build an additional story.
Pitt purchased the home in 2005 (post Jennifer Aniston and pre Angelina Jolie). Pitt, Jolie and their family don’t spend much time in the home, instead the live primarily in the south of France. They also own properties around the world, including other parts of Los Angeles.
Some reports indicate that comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres may have purchased Pitt’s home, however that has not yet been confirmed.
