Montecristo No. 2 Gran Reserva cigars use 5-year-old aged Cuban tobacco leaves

When it comes to rolling out a perfect Habanos cigar, trust Montecristo to get the job done right. With a heritage of manufacturing Habanos cigars since its conception in 1935, the brand will now make its first Gran Reserva, the Montecristo No. 2 Gran Reserva made from the best tobacco leaves from Vuelta Abajo in Cuba. The leaves were harvested half a decade ago in 2005 and were aged with utmost care, including the leaves used to make the Habano, the filler, the wrapper and the binder. All this was then put together and brought into being by the Montecristo cigar rollers in the H. Upmann factory. Also, these cigars will be created in extremely limited numbers, with only 5000 cases destined to be manufactured, each containing 15 units. Measuring 52 ring gauge (20.64mm) x 156mm in length, these cigars will hit Habanos store shelves soon.
