Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils Third Maison in Hong Kong

Joining the ranks of Van Cleef & Arpels’ first two stunning Maisons in Paris and New York, the celebrated jeweler’s Hong Kong Maison opened in unparalleled style in September 2011. Although the jewelry house boasts 89 boutiques around the world, it is their elegant Maisons that truly showcase the poetry that Van Cleef & Arpels weaves with its sparkling creations.

Designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, the new Hong Kong Maison is unique and sophisticated, exuding a sense of refinement, exclusivity and modernity. On opening night, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in this gorgeous setting at the Prince’s Building on Chater Road in Central.

A spectacular gala dinner followed at the award-winning Mandarin Oriental, where the party—composed of international luminaries (like Cate Blanchett and Asian movie star Josephine Siao Fong Fong—was the first ever to take over the entire 25th floor, including the M bar, Pierre and Man Wah. Three-Michelin-star chef Pierre Gagnaire masterminded the evening’s special menu. The celebration continued atop the Prince’s Building, at SEVVA, where guests were treated to a performance by international recording artist Lisa Stanfield.
