Armani has opened a new wine bar in Tokyo located on the top floor of the Armani Ginza Tower. Formally a private, member-only bar, the new space is now a wine lounge open to the general public.
The newly opened wine bar in the Armani Ginza Tower in Tokyo is open for business, and open to the public, instead of exclusive members only.
An Armani spokesman said, “Armani as a brand has had some changes, and the aim is to reach more people, we want a large number of people to be able to experience the Armani lifestyle.”
The soft opening of the wine bar took place last month and Armani invited Tokyo’s fashion press last week for a tasting session.
Hoping to entice and introduce Japanese shoppers to the idea of an Italian aperitivo, the new wine bar offers 300 types of Italian wine, with approximately 30 from Franciacorta, along with small bites on the top floor and full dinner on the floor below.
