The Suites de la Potiniere in French Alps is voted the most expensive luxury ski hotel in the world


Luxury-Hotels.com have revealed The Suites de la Potiniere the most expensive luxury ski hotel in the world. The resort which is located within the Courchevel resort in French Alps has gained this exclusive bragging rights as a result of the new survey conducted by Luxury-Hotels.com. The results were arrived after considering the average rates for a standard double room for all luxury hotels from a period of January to March 2012. Travelers planning to vacation in The Suites de la Potiniere will be required to shell out $1,958 on an average. Following close on the heels of the "Potiniere" is Austria's Aurelio Lech with a dollar tag of $1,423. Lastly at number three from the neighboring Swiss Alps, is the Carlton Hotel in St.Moritz where the daily average rate came to around $1256.
