After come out with an 85m long superyacht British Designer Alex McDiarmid has created another Iwana. This time around the Superyacht Iwana 87m is 2-meters longer and has been inspired by the Water Dragon instead. Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dragon, the yacht's main structure is shaped like a dragon head, with the decks and communication tower "inspired by the dorsal crests of Dragons and beautiful marine iguanas." The super structure features a panoramic roof window running over the yacht and a solar panel system in the 'Magic Smart Glass' that let glass change colors for "privacy, sun/glare protection and visual entertainment".
The deck space aft features a hull that can open into "two, fold down, roll out, and wrap around bathing platforms" which is a treat for the sun-bathing lovers. Head over to the main deck, for a social and relaxation zone, and a swimming pool aft. A jacuzzi is place inside owners private dining deck. The upper deck features yet another private retreat for the owner. The yacht can accommodate a party of 16 guests in 8 cabins with a crew of 20.
For sea lovers, you can expect some cool custom tenders and toys such as waverunners, sea scooters, windsurfers, kayaks, waterskis, wakeboards and a whole range of scuba and fishing gear along with the SeaBird personal submersible. Created by US based AquaVenture Water Crafts the sub can be controlled with a joystick from either of its two seats. It boasts of 22 knots of submerged speed and can go as deep as 91 meters.
