Video: Kristin Cavallari & Mark Ballas on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Kristin Cavallari & Mark Ballas outside the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" studios after appearing on the show to chat about their exit from "DWTS".
Cavallari told Kimmel she was "a little bit" surprised with the voting results.
"That is a great thing about this show," added Mark Ballas. "At the end of the day, it's viewers choice. We had a good score. Personally, I thought that Kristin was underscored. At the end of the day, I'm really proud. I'm super bummed."
"I know, I'm sad too," added Cavallari. "Maybe I didn't have a good enough story. It's hard to compete with memorable years. Mine was I graduated from high school and moved to L.A."
On Monday's show, contestants had to chose a dance that reflected their most challenging year. Noted Kimmel, "J.R. picked 2003, a year he was severely injured by a landmine in Iraq. Chyna Phillips picked the year she stopped abusing drugs. David Arquette did 2010, when his marriage fell apart and he started drinking heavily. Nancy Grace chose the year she had twins and they spent time in the ICU. Ricki Lake chose the year she got divorced and her house burned down. Your year was 2005, and it was most memorable because you had to choose between going to college and a reality show!"
"It wasn't a sob story," admitted Cavallari.
"You had to have a sob story. You have to make something up! Was this reality show harder than The Hills, where you shopped and ate lunch?" quipped Kimmel.
"It's much more physically demanding," laughed Cavallari, who said they rehearsed five to six hours a day.
When asked if she'd continue dancing, Cavallari said, "It was a lot of fun, and a great workout. It was nice to not have to go to the gym, so maybe."
