Whitney Port attended the Teen Vogue Fashion University kick-off at The Conde Nast Building on October 22, 2011 in New York City.

"It was so surreal being back in the place where it all began — same offices but such a different feeling. Going from an intern at Teen Vogue to being a designer on the Teen Vogue panel really blew my mind.
For my panel I was interviewed by Mary Kate Steinmiller, the Senior Fashion Market Editor at Teen Vogue — she was so great and made me feel so comfortable. It was such an honor to be up there with her. I also got to meet Betsey Johnson, which was really cool. I grew up wearing her clothes and to actually meet her and be a speaker at the same event doesn’t even seem like something that would have ever happened in my lifetime. What an amazing day!
I wore a Matthew Williamson blouse and skirt with Camilla Skovgaard shoes."
