I'm back!!! London May 25 to June 2, 2008

And I enjoyed every bit of it! From museums, to pubs and a grand Palace outside of London, it was a nice break from my monotonous life. My three most favorite places were, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Blenheim Palace and of course, the whole city Bath. No trip would be complete without me visiting an LV boutique and so I was not only satisfied with one, but went to three within the city! I even missed out going into Harrods because I had a hard time looking for New Bond Street and was pressed for time. Here's a few snapshots from my trip.
After a 7-hour red-eye flight and being greeted with a downpour at the tube station, even the splendid Elgin Marbles of the British Museum could not entice me to move.

The Natural History Museum dominating the skyline.

The boutiques at Sloan and New Bond Street. Needless to say, my Beaubourg was a hit and I might have picked up a little souvenir...

The magnificent formal gardens.

No caption necessary.

Waiting for our train to Bath beside the Paddington Bear statue at the station. It is of note, that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Paddington Bear stories. So even in my Bear purchase, I opted for the limited edition one, hence his black hat in the previous pic. Thank goodness, I didn't need to go on a waitlist for that one!
