Betsey Johnson - High Waisted Shorts and Cartwheels too!
Well knowned for her carefully crafted show themes, the focus of Betsey Johnson Fall 2007 was a School of Charm.
The show opened as several models dressed up in maids costumes strutted down the catwalk with dust brooms in hand - dusting as they go.
We just loved the high waisted shorts that were featured throughout Betsey Johnson Fall 2007 collection.
Black high waisted shorts, black opaque tights, toped by a silky pink top and black jacket was one of our favorities.
Another high waisted shorts combo was featured in grey and black, with black opaque tights and a black shirt with large front tie - great for the fall cocktail set or the dance floor.
A little black mini dress with layered skirts, reminded us of the 20s flapper look and looked great on the catwalk .
Betsey Johnson - this 65 year old grandmother can still do a great cartwheel down the catwalk.
Still beautiful and looking like a flower child, Betsey Johnson is one of our favorite designers.
Although this year's fall collection was supposed to represent the more mature side of Betsey, the collection features some sexy outfits including hot pants, and those ties and big bow ties that were turning up at many designer fall collections.

From peppermint red and white strips mini dress topping a beautiful pair of high leggins to the dazzling colors and details of some of the sweaters, this is definitely a partying type wardrobe.
The women of Heatherette easy on down the catwealk - as if enchanted into a perpetual dance movement.
On the catwalk, Lydia Hearst played the part of Dorothy eased on down the catwalk in a layered in blue and white checkered mini dress with an over sized tennis racket bag and a course - those sparkling, glittering red shoes.
And, a course there was the good witch of the north Glenda played by Amanda Lepore.
Male models worn leather belts shirts, symbolic of the S&M clubbing scene, which reinforces the notion that these outfits were inspired or inspired the downtown dance scene.
Summing up the whole show, brought to you in traditional dance club black light, was a t-shirt wore by Traver Rain saying - "We're not in Kansas Anymore".
An, indeed we are not in Kansas any more.
