It's a bit chilly here in DC with a temp. of 66° F. More and more, I feel the end of the summer and the beginning of the autumnal equinox. Only 12 days more and coats and scarves and woolen mittens are to be resurrected from their storage bins. I am looking foward to what Vuitton has in store for us. So here's an homage to the passing of the collections as represented by Spring's Damier Lune to Fall's Siwa Briefcase. LVoe it!!!

Well, I finally did it! I got myself my first jewelry piece from Vuitton. It's simply called "Necklace" or Pendant Boitier and belongs to the Fall Men's Runway collection. Inspired by watch movements, it consists of five metal plates with varying cut-outs. If aligned properly, the name LOUIS will appear. It comes with its own antiqued silver chain. I am not talking about Roy Clark's song. I don't even know who Roy Clark is. What I am talking about is the new leather goods men's line blowing from Vuitton, the Chicago Collection. Made of supple, nappa calf leather, this is sure to win the hearts of those who are not into Monograms and Damiers. The signature is discreetly perforated and so far, the color choice is black. I am most keen about the trifold wallet. Before I joined the band of pochette, long wallet owners, the trifold was my favorite kind. I still have some laying around here dating from the 1990s. I have yet to see and feel the leather in real life so that will be my assignment for this weekend. Who knows, one of these babies might just get into my pocket.
