Did you guys know that there is currently a cap on purchases made through www.louisvuitton.com? Apparently if you order too many stuff in a brief period of time, customer service will place a call to inform you that you cannot purchase anymore for the next 12 months!!! So far, this seems to be an LV US policy so I would like to hear from people abroad. It must be the shortage or they're trying to curb the resale market or they are simply making Vuitton products less available so people can crave for them. My advice is: CHOOSE YOUR PURCHASES WISELY. Any thoughts?

LVook See: Scott Campbell for Louis Vuitton
Oooohhh...I thought I would never see these aside from the press photos. They are printed stoles on 100% cotton designed by Scott Campbell for Louis Vuitton. Based on Chinese astrological symbols, the celebrity ink artist has reinterpreted the iconic Monogram logos to create fanciful images for the Men's Spring Summer 2011 collection. Minh, a LVoe Reader sent them over when he visited the boutique today. I believe they are only available where Men's Ready-to-Wear are but maybe an excellent SA can pull strings to have one sent over to your local boutique. Currently priced at $540, they will come in Etoupe and Bleu as shown. Thanks, M for sending in your LVook-See photos. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!
Sales Associates Appreciation Day

I would like to declare the day after Louis Vuitton's birthday (at least in my blog) Sales Associates Appreciation Day. I know that I can sometimes be difficult but without all of you I would not be able to enjoy my LV's. So here's to all my associates who in one way or another have helped me. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone! I urge all my LVoe readers also to thank their SAs by posting a comment here.

Lil' Kim and the Ambre GM
Hi there,
I was just wondering if you knew much about this bag? This is the only
picture Ive ever seen of it and im really curious!! Im unable to find
out any info/ hi res pics anywhere else.
Many thanks
Henry Edwards
Hi there Henry,
The bag in the foreground comes from the Monogram Ambre Collection and is called the Cabas Ambre GM. It was released for Cruise 2004 as a seasonal collection. Unfortunately, it is no longer available in stores and can only be purchased through re-sellers. Be careful though, because this is a much faked LV so there are a lot of counterfeits out there. I have only seen one in real life which is the smaller version of this bag. Thanks for visiting my blog!
LVoe it,
Francis
Louis Vuitton Monogram Mat Collection
I received this request from an old post, click here regarding the Monogram Mat ....I have this bag (stockton bleu) and i'm sad cause i feel that many people don't know about it even on the internet there is no information can you please give some (the collection of which year, the price, ...)!!! thank you.
I can't say that I know much about this collection since it pre-dates my LVoe for LV but here are photos from the historical catalogue. I will only be featuring the bags but it also came out in small leather goods like wallets and agendas. I believe they were removed in circulation sometime around 2006. If LVoe Readers can contribute prices or any info, (ahem...Mr. Duck) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Anonymous for inquiring about this. I LVoe thumbing through the old catalogue.

Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Lambskin Gloves
Hi Louis Vuitton Lover,
thanks for giving me the pleasure reading your blog. I check it daily and
I enjoy your posts!
Please, allow me to ask you one question, maybe you can help me out.
When I take a look at the LV site and I go to the Men's section and Men's
bags I see a picture of a guy wearing leather gloves with cuffs in Damier style.
I can't find these gloves in the catalogue, can you tell me more about them?
I just Lvoe them!
dear regards and keep up the great work!
Wim from Holland
Well, Wim, first of all, I would like to thank you for visiting my blog. It's always a pleasure to receive correspondence from LVoers in other countries. As for your question, the Men's FW 2009 2010 Catalogue describes them as Lambskin Gloves. The item code is MP0650 and they cost $US970. Just call your local LV boutique and I'm sure they can help locating one for you in your area. Once again, thanks for writing in and if you do get them, send a pic my way. They are fabulous and you have quite an eye.
LVoe it!!!
From Manila with LVoe

It just doesn't take bags or accesories but even lil' bits of info for you to be featured in the LVoe Blog. Garrey from Manila posted this recently: let me start by saying im a big fan of your blog, of marc jacobs and of louis vuitton. the brand has so much creativity and life. i know this is way off the topic of your post but i cant seem to send you an email (dont know why). i collect lv ads (its the only lv i can afford hehehehehehe) and when i got my sean connery ads i noticed that they made a cute insertion of mr connery's film identity. on the write up you will see "Bahamas 10:07" i dont know if the 10:07 is suppose to connote time but how i see it is the 1 means 1st and 007 james bond. clever dont you think? :)
i hope its of help for you blog.
cheers from the third world! garrey

Thanks for sending it in Garrey! I never even noticed that before. LVoe it!!!
Chloë Sevigny for Louis Vuitton?!
Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2004-2005 Collection Ad. Bag featured is the Velour Gracie with Alligator Trim.
I just read Meenal Mistry's blog at style.com about Chloë being open to the idea of future collaborations with a high end fashion house. "I’d like to do something with a high-end company," said Sevigny. “You know, the way that Sofia Coppola did with Louis Vuitton. I thought it was very cool. There were no labels on anything. I like that. I prefer it.” What do you think, guys? After Sofia and Kanye's collab, is it wise for LV to also do one with Chloë Sevigny?
It's the Two-Year Anniversary of my Blog!!!

I started Louis Vuitton Lover only 3 days after I purchased my Reporter PM, my first LV ever. Click here to see that post. Since then, I have tried to blog anything and everything about Louis Vuitton and have met tons of wonderful people along the way from all over the world. Recently, I added "Insatiable Quest" to my blog description to encapsulate its essence. I want to express my immense gratitude to all of you who make reading this blog a habit and allowing me to be a part of your daily LiVes. (*SNIFF**SNIFF*). But seriously, a big 'THANKS' to all my LVoe Readers. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. I remain, Louis Vuitton LoVer. LVoe it!!!
Louis Vuitton Candy Bag Charm

Mary posted wondering if this "Candy Bag Charm" was ever released. I don't remember seeing them ever before so they might be a soon-to-be-released item. Any idea, LVoe readers? Is it from seasons past?
Hmmm...I wouldn't mind being in their Fraternity: Alpha Kappa LV!!!
Thank you, Arjay for the pic! Too bad the Speedy is a fake. Thanks LVoe Readers for pointing that out. I was so engrossed with the other subjects of the foto that I failed to notice the feet.
First LVook: Pre Fall 2009
Louis Vuitton’s pre-fall collection celebrates the era of the 40's. I really don't see it but I LVoe the pink evening bag. As you can see the Multicolore Insolite is also featured here. Check out the full article at DazedDigital.com. Photography by Karen Langley.

Sky High Wedges for the not so faint at heart

The three level zippered boots are quite interesting but hmmm...what's the Suhali seated on the chair???!!! I remember seeing it in the Lookbook. HELP LVOE READERS!!!
Blast from the Past: Vernis Fleurs Barrel Bag
With all the Spring Summer stuff coming out soon, I thought of featuring one from the LV archives. The Spring Summer 2000 Barrel Bag from the Vernis Fleurs Collection looks to me like a small Keepall. Unfortunately, since this was released way before I got into LV, I really can't tell you much about it. I would like to know the dimensions of this wonderful piece at least. So LVoe Readers, help me out!!! Here's a close-up of the Fleurs Lexington from Fashionphile so we can appreciate more the look of this Vernis from the past. She mentions by the way that the Barrel Bag does indeed look like a "Keepall from the front but has a round end like a Papillon or Bedford."
What do you think of the SC clutch?
As the release date for Sofia's collab with Vuitton is fast approaching, I was wondering what people really thought about the designs that are coming out. Let's start with the clutch. Any thoughts, LVoe readers?!
