Louis Vuitton Voyages at the National Museum of China
Wow, this is pretty exciting. Starting May 29 to August 30, 2011, the National Museum of China will host an exhibit by Louis Vuitton called "Voyages". I can't get to the Museum's website so not much info there. I wonder if this is the same as the Voyage en Capitale that closed in Paris last February. Any reader insights?
Sales Associates Appreciation Day

I would like to declare the day after Louis Vuitton's birthday (at least in my blog) Sales Associates Appreciation Day. I know that I can sometimes be difficult but without all of you I would not be able to enjoy my LV's. So here's to all my associates who in one way or another have helped me. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone! I urge all my LVoe readers also to thank their SAs by posting a comment here.
Louis Vuitton" Trunks and Toys" Exhibit Manila July 15 - August 5, 2010
Owing to Louis Vuitton's birthday, I would like to inject a little whimsy in my blog. Not too long ago, LV sponsored an exhibit entitled "Trunks and Toys" in my hometown, Manila. Since I am 8,562 miles away, there was no way that I could view it. Thankfully with the advances in technology and absolutely LVoely people, the exhibit came to me which I would like to share with all of you. The toys are from the founding family, a testimony to their passion for anything to do with travel. The exhibit also includes some antique trunks that were shipped all the way from Asnières, France. I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I did. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

My Portero Private Favourite

I am still kicking myself for not being able to log-in at noon today for the Portero Private Louis Vuitton Event. I was so swamped at work! My favourite still was the Embossed Leather Clutch that they had at the teaser photo. This is a runway piece from Ready-to-Wear Fall Winter 2007-2008. That shade of blue is quite similar to the Bleu de Prusse of my other favourite bag. I still couldn't believe that it sold for less than a thousand. Sigh...this was an EVENT alright!
