I received this request from an old post, click here regarding the Monogram Mat ....I have this bag (stockton bleu) and i'm sad cause i feel that many people don't know about it even on the internet there is no information can you please give some (the collection of which year, the price, ...)!!! thank you.
I can't say that I know much about this collection since it pre-dates my LVoe for LV but here are photos from the historical catalogue. I will only be featuring the bags but it also came out in small leather goods like wallets and agendas. I believe they were removed in circulation sometime around 2006. My greatest weakness is a rare Louis Vuitton so when I saw this Sac Crochet PM with calf and LIZARD trim, I was enthralled. I called 1-866 and apparently this was from the Spring Summer 2005 Collection. The last price before it was discontinued was $7100. The seller claims it is authentic and was made for the runway. The level of craftsmanship is quite convincing as well as the presence of the appropriate tags. The bag as the name implies is crafted out of textile with the monograms raised, a very unique way of interpreting it. To merit the name crochet, the use of a hook is necessary so this must've been entirely handmade. Of course, the current-resale-$3K-price tag is a bit steep but it's exciting to see pieces that I am not familiar with. I am in no way connected to the seller but for the listing click here. Spending 5 days in Miami without a trustee ol' shoulder bag was a difficult situation to be in. My That's LVoe tote can only hold as much and sometimes you just need a bag that you can go anywhere without worries, such as the Beaubourg or my Compagnon. Secretly, I was jealous of Arjay's Horizontal Lockit because it holds a ton! So, I decided to feature for my next Discontinued Piece, the Sac Flanerie. Produced in only two sizes, 45 and 50, this ample luggage piece can be used as a huge tote for those I-just-want-to-throw-stuff-in bags. I LVoe the way how the vachette hugs and supports the bottom creating a perpendicular design. I called 1-866 to figure out when it was discontinued and was informed that it was around late nineties or early 2000. LVoe it really and too bad that it's no longer available.

Ever since I bought my first Vuitton with an S-lock, I have gravitated to pieces that have it. I was searching around the internet when I happened upon this delighful little number. The Spring Street in Vernis. Unfortunately, this piece is no longer available. Dimensions are roughly 7.5"x6.75"x3.75" with 3.25" drop.

It is quite small yet the minuteness of it adds more to the charm. Judging from the pics online, it came in an array of colors. (e.g. rouge, noisette, framboise, peppermint, baby pink etc...) I think I'm going to create a new category entitled: Discontinued Pieces. This will be different from the Blast from the Past series in which most of those are Runway Limited editions.
