I believe that a lot would agree with me that a good wallet is hard to find. The Insolite is one of LVs bestsellers so it's nice to see a playful side to it. Emblazoned with the "Articles de Voyage" the upcoming wallet will have a contrast coloured interior. Perfect for summer. LVoe it!

Every man needs a stylish Key Fob so the Vuitton interpretation with two of its masculine pattern, Ebène and Graphite is a most welcome addition to the Men's Accessories. Slated to be released either August or September, these would be perfect stocking stuffers for the Holidays. LVoe it!!!

The latest addition to the Mahina Line is the shoulder bag called Galatea. Supposed to be released this Monday, August 14 (though I've seen it being sold in stores) it comes in PM ($3050) and MM ($3300) sizes. The current picture shows the colour Opal and highlights the characteristic perforated technique that this leather is known for. I LVoe the luggage belt detail on the straps. It seems that most LV bags nowadays have it.

Just released in the US yesterday, August 1st, the Westminster is a much awaited bag from the Damier Collection. It is characterized by double pleats in the front, double zippers on the top and double pockets in its roomy interior. Measuring 17.3" x 10.6" x 7.5" for the GM and 13.4" x 9.4" x 5.9" for the PM and priced at $1260 and $1120, respectively. It's a great LVooking shoulder bag that could be at home in the workplace continuing to a casual night out.

Well, your demands have been heard! This Fall 2011, Louis Vuitton will begin to release some wallets and small leather goods under their Mon Monogram Service. Only a handful of stores will have the initial release but most of the boutiques will be getting them around April 2012. Whimsy is what keeps me sane so it is my delight that I feature this travel-inspired bag charm. I'm sure it will be a pricey piece but you can see why. The attention to detail from the trunk's hardware to the little tag dangling near the clasp. My last two postings are valid reasons to celebrate so I instantly remembered seeing and hoping that I had this $6K wine carrier that Hydie sent me a few days ago. I've been posting so much about the Women's stuff that I've practically forgotten about the fabulous pieces that are slated to be released for the Boyz. Let's begin with the Clutch Historique. Crafted out of Monogram Canvas, the man bag is decorated with a huge brass mechanism; drawing its inspiration from Vuitton's antique trunks of the past. Sadly, this still VERY European arm candy still has yet to cross over to the US. I still see a lot of men with backpacks and gym bags in conservative Washington, but the occasional trendy tote or messenger sling pops out every now and then. So things are slowly changing. Hmmm...I would do away with the Historique's wrist band though. It just gets in the way and it makes it simpler. LVoe it!!!

Before we delve further into what's coming for the cold months, I wanted to feature a perfect summer bag called the Daily. Crafted out of the new Monogram Denim, this will surely win the hearts of those that miss this line. Ample space with outside pockets for the bigger version, the adjustable vache leather straps make it the perfect lazy day bag, plus they are lined in microfibre.
What I LVoe about these are the brass engraved press buttons that have the vintage signature on them. Furthermore, they are then sewn onto the fabric with circular vache tabs. For those of you who missed out on the Monogram Eclipse Collection from Fall Winter 2009 2010 , here's your chance to own one with the Alma BB. This petite bag (9.8"x7.6"x4.7") was an instant success with its Monogram canvas and Vernis counterparts. So it is no wonder that Marc Jacobs decided to release it in its blingier form with black pailletes. Priced at $2250, hurry before the pieces get sold out. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

I would like to feature today the Evora that has been out for quite sometime now but is still relatively new. Crafted out of canvas and leather of the Damier Ebene and Azur lines, it comes in MM (17.3"x17.3"x 3.9") and GM (18.9"x19.7"x5.5") sizes. I kinda see the the shape of the ever popular Galliera but the Evora has two shoulder straps and is secured by a zippered top. The pleatings are an excellent touch. During my last visit at the boutique I noticed that Vuitton has released quite a few of Bijoux Fantaisie Pieces (Fancy Jewelry). Following the footsteps of the legendary Coco Chanel when she started selling off faux pearls close to the price of real ones, the collection is definitely worth LVooking at. And for that I would like to feature first the Damier Perle Collection.

Gosh, those wallets are pretty pricey. With that kind of money, a guy can already buy a very chic man bag like the Damier Graphite Thomas. Here's a wallet that I have not seen before: the Sarah Nœud Wallet. Now, the Pochette Wallet (during my time before it was called Sarah) is my favourite design of all Vuitton wallets. It sits comfortably in the hand and holds a ton of credit and identification cards, with a zippered compartment to secure important what-nots plus ample space for wads of cash...not that I had a lot. The Nœud is a re-design of the Pochette with a studded twist lock and bow that adds extra femininity to it.


Priced at $925 for the Multicolore, it is currently out of stock online so I would suggest contacting your local boutique. It also comes in the Vernis for $940. LVoe it!!!

It's the first Spring day today where I really felt the blazing sun and so I thought I would feature a couple of sunnies. The first above is named the Tentation from Men's Runway 2011. These metal lunettes have laser-cut lenses that are beautifully framed with Damier pattern details. It's a bit steep at $625 but oh so chic.


The Enigme on the other hand which is available in black and taupe, is relatively cheaper at $425. Also bearing laser-cut lenses that are framed in lightweight plastic, Damier inspired hinges with the LV logo completes the LVook. One thing I LVoe about LV are the small accessories that they keep coming up with each season. Take for example the chic yet functional Damier Plaque Key Holder. A Carré is one of my favourite accessories. So, I am happy to blog that Louis Vuitton has a new silk collection but this time it is trimmed with tassels that weighs down the edges for an excellent drape effect. Sized at 28 x 28 inches (70x70cm), it is a traditional square with vibrant prints inspired by the Women's Spring Summer 2011 show. The price is a bit steep but all the same I LVoe it!!! Ever since the Men's Spring Summer 2011 have been released last week, I have been contemplating on getting a bag from the men's line for a change. What popped right out is the Torres from the Monogram Macassar Collection. Work bag, of course, but I believe you can use it on those weekend out trips where you just want to be hands free. What I LVoe about the Macassar is the burgundy lining as opposed to the usual brown. Currently $1320 at www.louisvuitton.com.

A late release from last year, the Monogram Vernis Vermont Avenue is one of LV's day to evening bags. Tortoise acetate lock and strap accentuates this relatively small piece ( 8.6" x 6.7" x 2.4") which is priced at $2360. I wish they lined it with something more luxurious like suede or even the alcantara with that price point. So far, only released in Amarante. Available at www.louisvuitton.com.
