I saw this on the window of my local boutique and I must say that it's absolutely adorable. My SA though was trying to convince me otherwise. She insisted that you can't really put anything in it due to the lack of girth. Just cards, a few loose change, perhaps a small cellphone. I still thinks it's LVoely especially the tab detail. I am glad to see that a new Damier Ebene is slated to join the ranks of the Core Collection. Named the Cabas Rivington, it will come in three sizes and will have long shoulder straps. The estimated release date will be August 1st and will roughly cost around the low $1,000. I think it draws from the old Belem design that was discontinued a few seasons ago; which makes sense, to give the collection a sense of cohesiveness.

Since my previous post was about the Pegase, I want to feature the Monogram Idylle's Epopée. It's so chic and elegant especially in the Sepia (also comes in Encre Blue and Fusain Brown). Minaudières are my current thing so the exquisite Trésor Brode made my jaw dropped when I saw it online. Made out of satin that is painstakingly embroidered with sequins and other fittings, the highly embellished clutch is softened with black patent leather. Also, lined in gold lambskin, the piece can either be a hand or shoulder bag. A little under $5,000 and you can take this baby home with you. LVoe it!!!

In line with the pre-order date of the iPhone 4, I would like to feature the soon to be released LV iPad case. ( A few units came out but it's already sold out. Late August to early September is the expected next shipment. I've seen some people toting around their iPads but none having a designer case. The Vuitton version will come out in Monogram and Damier Graphite targetting their male clientele who wants more than just a generic case. From the LVooks of it, this one won't have a handle to grab onto though. Priced at $390.

Upcoming for the heavenly bodies of the Mahina Collection, is the Stellar. Slated to be released this July, the ultra-high-tech perforated calfskin has the LVook of the Monogram Palermo sans the pleat. The Mahina has one of the most luxurious leather of all the lines so it's no wonder that LV is expanding it. The PM will come in three colours: Ciel, Poudre and Anthracite while the GM will only come in Anthracite. I LVoe the Ciel!! Prices are $3230 for the PM and $3550 for the GM. Gosh, LV has tons of stuff that have either been released or awaiting to reach the market while I was away. I saw a few pieces in Canton Road and even took some spy pics. Monogram Delightful GM ~ Nothing has really caught my fancy for the past couple of seasons. I thought I was losing the LVoe until I saw this Monogram piece sitting prettily on the shelf. The Delightful is the latest to join the core collection. Released in the standard trinity size, PM, MM and GM. It's a hybrid of the Galliera and Neverfull. I LVoe, LVoe, LVoe the zipper detail on the GM. This bag has re-introduced me again to the Monogram Collection. I have been focusing way too much on seasonal items. (PM $760, MM $855, GM $1100)
Pochette Sobe New LV ~ I am sooooooo into clutches right now and usually prefer a small piece for going out. This fits the bill perfectly. With its simple yet elegant design, the tortoiseshell-esque finish just ads the needed glamour. $965


Monogram Antheia ~ crafted out of embroidered lambskin, the pattern reminds me of old world Celtic quilts. Named after the Greek goddess of flowers, the hobo comes in two sizes PM $2720 and GM $2970
Monogram Aviator ~ jacquard and lamé makes up most of the body of this bag with a bright orange lining drawing inspiration from bomber jackets. The pre-fall piece has a hefty price tag of $3270 though.

Making waves this Summer is the latest in the LV-Murakami Saga ~ The Cosmic Blossom Collection. Designed to be a no frills line, this will surely beat the heat in style. The collection comprises of the Cosmic Tote in PM and GM. Priced at around $1200 and $1500, respectively, the pieces reflect the vibe of the Tahitienne and Ipanema of seasons past. Of course, for those that find carrying a tote cumbersome, a pochette that has a relatively reasonable price of $550 is also being released. In this photo, you can actually see the creative chaos of the Murakami flowers.
Toss in a few accesories and textiles and voila!, a collection is born. Unfortunately, according to ILVOELV the cell phone charm is being scrapped from the collection. Licensing or quality issues were rumoured to be the culprits. Too bad because those happy charms are really cute. Slated to be released sometime in late April to early May.

I haven't really visited www.louisvuitton.com in ages and was pleasantly surprised with their latest offerings in the accesories department. Two gorgeous bracelets emerged as winners for me. First we have the Charm It bracelet above. Designed of rolled canvas, the piece is accentuated with lacquered lock and key charm.
Next is my favourite of the two, the Save It Cuff. Inspired by a 1933 trunk lock, it will come in both Monogram and Multicolore canvas. Priced at $265 for the bracelet and $360 for the cuff.

Last February I posted a pic of the upcoming Verona, the latest addition for the Damier Ebene Line. Here's a photo of the PM size. The bags will be released on April 1st and prices are PM $1030, MM $1280 and GM $1430. This LVooks like a promising piece for all you shoulder bag LVoers out there. Thanks for the photo, Mary.

Also new is the Louis Vuitton Heritage Collection comprising of small leather goods. Very much like those used from bygone days, the collection is made up of a Long and Compact Wallet as well as a Coin Purse. Colours are caramel and burgundy for the Long, caramel and green for the Compact, and violet and grey for the c Coin Purse. The last of the city bags to be released today that I am feauturing is the Monogram Idylle Romance. A shoulder bag that flips open to reveal a spacious interior, I think this is my favourite of the collection. $1300 at www.louisvuitton.com. LVoe it!!!

Released today is the Monogram Idylle Collection and from it, the Elegie, a city bag that boast two ways of carrying it, shoulder and handheld. I don't really know what to think of the patchwork Nightbird Clutch that Marc has designed for us. Crafted out of different materials, the $2100-pochette has a python strap that ends in telephone coil. Hmmm...I need to see this in real life which is slated to be released in March.
