The Smurfs hold a special memory from when I was a kid. My family used to live in Holland and our tinsy winsy flat overlooked a BP whose mascot in the late seventies were the Smurfs. Everytime my parents bought something from the station, they would get this bag with a Smurf head on it which I then cut and placed on about everything.
