Another piece that caught our wandering eyes was the Galliera in Python. Brought in for the store's special event, the exotic piece is a sight to behold. Lined in beige, buttery-soft leather, it contrasts perfectly with the reptilian exterior. If you don't like snakes, this is not for you because you could actually feel the scales brushing against your skin. It is a bit rigid as opposed to other exotic bags that I have felt before. The size is GM so it's a lot of snake to take in. If I could cough up $8500, this sepentine baby would have gone home with me. LVoe it!!!

Let's Cruise on Over Part Trois

The last of the Cruise 2009 pieces is the Surya that is named after the Hindu Sun god who rides in his fiery chariot and is the inspiration for the overall look of glam and gloss of this XL bag. The Monogram perforations is meticulously crafted onto the patent leather that is lightweight and supple. Measuring 29.5"x 12.6"x 9.8" this oversize hobo comes in violet, black and brown. $3360 at

Let's Cruise on Over Part Deux
I just pruned my roses today due to the LVoely weather and I thought to myself, wow, Spring is already upon us! So I figured, I will have to feature the rest of the Cruise 2009 Collection. First off, the Monogram Scuba Totes . Coming in sizes GM and MM, these neoprene Neverfulls are a delight to see. I heard that the GM is humongous and a sales associate could well fit it in. I've only seen the MM that Angel is dying for. The black leather trim also give some classiness to the look of the bag. Both sizes comes in fuchsia and orange and are priced at $2580 GM and $1940 MM.

Lastly, we have the super-cute Monogram Scuba Clutch from this line. Sporting the 1929 ad in a miniature plate, this is perfect for carrying just the essentials. Clutch is priced at $725. Visit www.louisvuitton.com or save on tax at eLUXURY.com .

Let's Cruise on Over
With the temperatures rising in my part of the world and Spring is almost upon us, I decided to feature the Travel Shoppers that are being offered by Louis Vuitton for Cruise-Resort 2009. First off, let's take a look at the Traveller:
As you all know, Jerome has this bag. Crafted out of coated canvas with a buttery soft leather trim, the graphic 1929 logo resurrected from the LV archives is proudly emblazoned in black on the bag's surface. I'm kinda worried about how they affixed the lettering on this piece. It's silk screened onto the canvas that could potentially peel off in time. It's very different from the Groom or Multicolore collection wherein the print seems sturdier (but even those we know from experince chafe off). We'll just have to wait and see. Check out detail shots of this bag from my previous post.
Up next is the petite version that is called the Rider: Sporting über long shoulder straps, this pocketbook, if I may call it that, is perfect to stuff just the essentials. Unlike it's older brother, the Rider comes in the Cruise colors fuschia and orange. I have yet to see this in real life but take a look at the modelling pics in my previous post. $2420 for the Traveller and $1940 for the Rider. LVoe it!!! Maybe it's the Rihanna-inspired crop that makes you look twice. It could also be that covetable black maillot from Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer collection that keeps you fixated. Whatever the reason, it seems that Lucy Torres-Gomez' third cover for Preview is, quite simply, hot!
Vintage cuts, tribal hues, and big bold accessories take center-stage assuring that the coming summer should look anything but bleak.
