From Germany with LVoe

Speaking/Blogging of Fall Winter Men's Runway Collection... Christian from Germany has just sent me this photo of him sporting his newly acquired Monogram Hexagone Neo Trocadero. Boasting of precise Monogram patchwork, this just-under-a-foot manbag is suited for the busy LV Man. Thank you for sharing this, C. You are absolutely HOT,HOT,HOT!!! LVoe it!!!
Rihanna & Chris Brown...NO COMMENT...
But look at the LV's they are carrying! Rihanna with her Gold Miroir Alma and Chris with his special order Miroir Christopher. Hmmm...I guess LV used another material for the Christopher since it looks pliable and Miroir is definitely not pliable! Perhaps a thinner polyvinyl or even leather?! Also, the color tone is quite different from that of the Alma but it could probably be just lighting and angles. Oh well, whatever it is, it's
a lotta *bling*, for sure!!! CORRECTION PLEASE: MY BAD. I thought the bag Chris is carrying is an LV. But I was duly informed by my male readers that it is in fact a BBC bag that was inspired by Vuitton's Christopher. Thanks, guys!!!

The Christopher
I once read an article that backpacks are only for 12-year old boys and that the modern, urban man should be carrying a man bag such as a messenger or body sling. Seeing the Christopher with its "special order" counterparts is making me rethink this proposition. Check it out:

Musings on the Murse

Last Hannukah dinner at Jeff's ancestral home, his 7 year old niece suddenly picks up my Macau clutch and asks me if it were mine. I answered in the affirmitive and then began a series of sing-song teasings: "Francis has a purse!" End of story. Last night, Jeff was watching the third season of The Wire wherein one of the agents in a covert operation was required to carry a similar looking clutch to make him look more European. The detective's response: "What the F##K is that?". Why are Americans so averse with a carrying bag? Granted that I am an extreme in my choice of LVs since I don't care about conforming to what society dictates. Isn't it time that all of you wisen up and realize that carrying a bag or clutch does not dictate what your proclivities are? Photo: David Beckham
