Black Force Tambour in Black

I've never really paid attention to LV timepieces because I am a loyal fan of another brand. But a visit to vuitton.com's Japanese website, I was intriuged by their video called Black Force. It features the iconic Tambour in Black in its three incarnations: automatic, chronometer and of course, the diamond studded. Ooops, as I am writing this post, I realized that the UK website has the video too. LV is tooting it as "the watch for modern travellers" and it "marks time in an original and unexpected manner". Visit www.louisvuitton.com to see the video.
Tambour Diving

With all the "watch" related items that I have been posting, I was inspired to explore what Louis Vuitton has to offer in terms of Horology. One piece struck me the most and that is or rather was a Tambour Diving watch. Unfortunately it is not available anymore and was only used as a pic for the opening portal of the section. They have all sorts, from chronographs, to special editions, to LV Cup. All quite pricey most particularly the Emprise Collection. I am a member of the Certified Chronometers Society (hehehehe) and am just not ready to jump into a Vuitton timepiece...yet...
