Vachetta Whipstitch Hobo
For Spring this year, expect Coach to delve into its design archives for an inspired trove of timelessly elegant and brilliantly executed fine leather objects. What caught our eye first are these hand-burnished, hand-stiched women's hobos and slingbags in beautifully nude vachetta (above and below). Embellished with whip-stitched detailing, the leather will age and develop a gorgeous patina over time.

For its 70th anniversary, Coach's popular Willis bag has been tweaked. Now offered in two sizes, the new Poppy Willis features a faithful reproduction of the original’s dowel detail, trigger clip and signature oval turnlock, with softer corners and a modern palette - we love the on-trend Colorblock version (below), a turquoise beauty with a pop of contrasting navy on the shoulder straps and tasselled luggage tag.

Meanwhile, the Pinacle collection showcases the apex of the American house's leathermaking know-how. The Pinnacle Leather Louisa Dowel Carryall (above) is a new shape for Spring, its double-dowel design fresh and modern. Like all Pinnacle bags, the Louisa is finished with tubular handles
for a tailored look and complex faceted zipper pulls crafted in bombé leather. The raw edges of all Pinnacle leathers are hand-stained, for an artisanal finishing touch.

The gents will love the lightweight, sturdy Crosby Op Art Shadow C Collection, a work-to-weekend concept in coated canvas and leather (below). Riffing off Coach's Op Art C motif, a dropped shadow has been added for an optic 3-D effect. The fabric has a two-sided print—it reverses to our signature ticking stripe—so it can be left unlined. Styles include the Crosby Op Art Business Tote with printed belting-leather trim, the Op Art Shadow C Canvas Travel Tote, and the Crosby Op Art Shadow C Large Flight Bag, inspired by the classic style carried by pilots for decades.
