In yesterday's edition of The Devil Wears Prada, we left Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) the unfashionable yet ambitious recent college grade leaving the office of Miranda Priestly, the high fashion priestess and editor of Runway magazine played by Meryl Streep, after interviewing for the position of her personal assistant.


Today, we find that Andy indeed was intriguing enough for Miranda to hire her.


Slowly but surely, Andy develops a fashion sense and becomes one of The Clackers, so named for the sound their mile-high stiletto heels make on the marble floors.

Will Andy become a driven empty shell serving only Miranda and forsaking her own life or will she survive at all.


Well, we not going to tell the full story, however, the reviews are in and they are positive.


Getting back to our original question - is being a personal assistant to a famous fashion editor or celebrity something that appealing to young, educated women?


Well, apparently the answer is yes.





The Devil Wears Prada scored highest with women under 18 years of age with a score of 8.2 out of 10 (123 votes), followed by a 7.6 (368 votes) by women age 18 -29 years.


Overall, the movie scored 7.1 in the 'IMDb ratings (1,399 votes) and scored a 77% rating (115 critics reviews) on Critics Tomatometter on Rotten Tomatoes.
