Louis Vuitton Macassar Collection

I am really LVoein' this Macassar Collection. I was wondering about the name of the line and decided to do a Google search. "Macassar" is actually a dark ebony type of grained wood so since this collection is characterized by its black leather trim, I guess that's where the name comes from.
